Just learned of your loss today. Words cannot express the sadness and sorrow I felt upon hearing the news. The world has lost one of it's finest human beings that lived here. He and I always talked about our kids, grand kids, fishing and our numerous diets. He was my doctor but the visits always felt like a visit with family instead of a doctor. I hope the family will find peace and comfort and know that they all were very much loved by Dr. Steve. He always beamed with pride when he spoke of them. Dr. Steve you will be greatly missed and will always hold a place in my heart.

Diana,
I am shocked and saddened to learn from the hospital's emailing of Steve's passing. My condolences in your loss. He was always a delight to work with, calm and compassionate, and ready to take on any issue or task whether routine or urgent. Patients were greatly helped by their contact with Steve and often preferred to see him over the docs when given the choice. I am praying your family's transition will not be overly difficult and memories of Steve will be a comforting and frequent help.
